Limit emails sent per hour

If you’re sending email through your ISP's email server, they may ask you to limit the number of messages you send per hour.

1. Click Set Up Accounts on the Send tab
2. Choose the account and click Properties
3. On the Send tab, check the Limit emails sent checkbox. Type in the limit or choose one of the predefined limits from the dropdown.
4. Click OK

Limit for slow mail servers

If you’re sending email through a slow email server, you may do the following to avoid clogging it up:

1. Click Set Up Accounts on the Send tab
2. Choose the account and click Properties
3. On the Send tab, drag the Recipients’ servers slider to the left
4. Click OK

Limit number of send threads

If you’re sending email directly from the program instead of through an external SMTP server, and you experience stability issues, try the following:

1. Click Set Up Accounts on the Send tab
2. Choose the account and click Properties
3. On the Send tab, drag the Send acceleration slider to the left
4. Click OK
