Mailing logs
-
The Sent to list at the bottom of the Send tab shows
you the status of your mailing, including addresses which were duplicate,
invalid, or automatically corrected, as well as any SMTP server
errors.
- Many email addresses are automatically corrected.
Leading and trailing spaces are trimmed, obvious typos are corrected, and
emails missing the .com at the end are corrected whenever it’s clear how to
correct the address. For example, mikesmith@aol is automatically corrected to
mikesmith@aol.com.
Mailing logs on disk
-
The mailing logs are in CSV (comma-separated value) format. You can open them in Excel and sort by
the Notes column to extract the email addresses which failed.
- Choose Logs from the Send tab to see the logs. They are stored in:
- Windows 7, Vista: C:\ProgramData\Anconia\RocketSales\Logfiles
- Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Anconia RocketSales\Logfiles
- The logs are stored for the last 100 mailings, and are overwritten starting over from the first log file after 100 mailings.
